This forms our beliefs, which in turn influences our actions. Throughout our life we have been being programmed by our parents, culture, society, teachers and the media. Mostly this is without concern for our overall wellbeing.

Coaching Versus Counselling

The main difference between coaching and counselling is that coaching focuses on the future and counselling focuses on the past. (Counselling has many benefits – we recommend it for grief and loss, including the type that comes with the ending of a relationship.)

We use coaching to allow you to gain the understanding, skills and resources to allow you to actively and intentionally create your desired results.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Time Line Therapy

By understanding these relationships, we can work with you to study the way you traditionally think and act, and help you to transform, re-shape, and unlock the potential of your mind.

Time Line Therapy is a technique that allows us to resolve significant events in your past.

It addresses the fact that our past influences our current behaviour. By accessing our Time Line, we also access the memories and events that mould us. We can then work together to free you of the negative emotions and limiting decisions that have shaped your life, and show you how to create a new and positive future.

How many sessions will I need?

Relationship coaching is a journey – it’s important to take the time and make the commitment to make a change in your life.

This is reflected in our approach:

  • We offer different levels of coaching dependant on your needs, and a blend of one-on-one, telephone, and email follow-up. We set you tasks and goals, and review how you are going along the way.
  • We use a variety of tools and techniques, whichever is right for you, whatever is going to allow you to make the changes that will most improve the quality of your relationships.
  • We combine traditional coaching methods and the power of NLP and Time Line Therapy, as well as education on the working of the mind and communication.
  • We focus on developing a strong coaching relationship with you – we don’t believe in ‘quick fix’ solutions. Instead, we ask you to make a commitment to an amount of time – say three or six months – to embark on the journey with us to achieve and sustain a positive, connected relationship.
